Sightseeing in Paris

Sunday, December 1, 2013
Here are the last of the Paris pictures! Overall, Ross & I really enjoyed the city of Paris- much more than we thought we would. We both agreed that we will have to go back in the future, during happier circumstances.
La Madeleine Church

La Madeleine, originally built for Napolean's army. Very impressive up close.

Gardens at the entrance of the Louvre.

Can you spot a baby bump? Good thing Emily let me borrow this maternity coat!

The Louvre is massive, each building is impressive with intricate statues all around. This is just one small fraction of one building.

Louvre, Pyramids at the entrance

Pont des Arts, aka the Love Lock Bridge

Put your name on a lock, then throw the keys into the water to symbolize unbreakable love.

There's been a lot of lovers to come before us!

Adam, Danielle & Madison have a love lock somewhere here too

Sacre Coeur Basilica, is a relatively new church for Paris standards, finished in 1914.

The church sits on a hill and overlooks the city of Paris

The church is behind us, I promise...

Bon voyage, back to reality!
