Big thank you to Granna for spending quality time with the girls to enable this trip. I'm pretty sure C&P want us to do this type of trip again real soon... I mean a Ferris wheel, carousel, and a train ride is hard to beat.
Galveston for 11 years

We went to Galveston for an overnight to celebrate our 11 year anniversary (August 9). Neither Ross or I had been to the Island for many years and it's easy to forget how accessible of a beach it really is when you live in Houston. We stayed at the San Luis and had a great view from our room.
