We went fishing for Reds on Saturday- first fish of the season! We headed to the Klutina river, which is about ~3.5 hours outside Anchorage. I hadn't been out to this part of Alaska before and the drive was just beautiful. It was a little cramped in the 4-Runner with a 6'5" Dad AND a grey one, but I'd definitely chalk it up as bonding time.
Little FYI, Roma got her bandage off today and she will get her stitches out next week. She's minus a toe, but doing so well!
We stopped a couple times for the "scenic overlook" views. Worth it!
