We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation. Now I know how much of a blessing running water really is. Funny how that works. Here's how the kitchen looked at the start of the week, in the middle of the cabinet installation:

All our kitchen "stuff" is currently displaced throughout the rest of the house. We setup a make-shift "kitchen station" with our new microwave. Lovely.

It's been really nice having the brother here to let the myriad of contractors into the house while we were at work during the day. :)

We were also pretty stoked when we got a dinner invite from friend Charles... No more plastic silverware?! No more microwave dinners?! Hallelujah! He made us Parmesan-crusted halibut, steamed broccoli, roasted potatoes, and bacon ice cream? Yep BACON ICE CREAM, and it was delicious. Thanks again C-Rey!!
