Here's Jolin's story:
Jolin started feeling some contractions this morning and went into the hospital once they started getting intense. When she arrived they asked her if she was a first time momma and when she said yes, sent her to take a shower (apparently shower helps with the pain when you're not dilated enough for the drugs yet). What the nurses didn't realize, is that Jolin is an NP and kinda knows a thing or two about these kinda things... So when they checked Jolin out after the shower they realized she was already dilated 9 cm, which translates to "baby wants out-- NOW". Which also means, too late for the epidural!!!! AHHHHHH!!
Jolin gave birth, au' natural, to a 10+ lb baby. She should get some kind of award for that. I made her some zucchini bread, that will have to do for now.
