Here are some pictures on the evening of our "campfire in the snow" on our Petersville trip.

Here's a Ross quote: "I know about fires but I don't know anything about building fires in the snow."

Well, we learned that it's basically the same as anywhere else, except a big hole forms around he fire and it can drop down a distance depending on the level of the ground.
