Brandon's Visit

Ross's buddy, Brandon, flew up from Houston for the weekend to hang out and experience Alaska for the first time. It's a bit of an awkward time for outdoor activities in Alaska right now because it's too cold for casual hiking, but there's not enough snow for skiing yet. Sooo, we got on our snowshoes and went for a little jaunt at Powerline Trail.

We broke out Roma's snow boots. So fashionable :)

This picture captures the essence of Roma. Snoot covered with snow from fetching elusive snowballs, ears flaying, grass hanging from one side of her mouth... Ready to PLAY!

We got a big 'ole dump of snow last night. Maybe 6 inches?

Ross got to workout his "snow shoveling" muscles clearing the driveway today. Winter has arrived. Here we go!
